The Deputy Head of Audiology will be an experienced clinical scientist able to combine their Audiological and Vestibular expertise with leadership skills to provide excellent clinical care for patients and support to the clinical team.
Working closely with the Head of Audiology, the post holder will ensure that clinical and professional standards are maintained within the team and developed where necessary. Part of the role will involve the quality and governance of the service and contribution of the attainment and maintenance of UKAS accreditation.

Person Specification Qualifications- Qualified as a Clinical Scientist in Audiology or equivalent M‑Level qualification
- Previous experience of working as an Audiologist in a leadership role in the NHS.
- HTS in Advanced Audiology/Vestibular Assessment/Rehabilitation or other area
- Extensive experience of complex audiology assessment and rehabilitative techniques
- Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities.
- Possess in depth knowledge of assessment and rehabilitation techniques of adults with learning disabilities
