? 💙 Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking for a dedicated Advanced/Senior Social Worker to join our Corporate Parenting Adolescents 14-17 Team
.

As an Advanced/Senior Practitioner, you will:

• Lead the Pathway Planning process for adolescents transitioning to adulthood 🛤️
• Provide high-quality advice, guidance, and practical support to help them achieve their aspirations 🌟
• Contribute to supervisory and practice development roles
  , supporting colleagues and enhancing team learning 📚
• Implement corporate parenting principles
  , ensuring adolescents have stability, security, and opportunities to succeed 🏡

• Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
• ASYE + at least 3 years post‑qualification experience
• Experience in supervisory/practice development roles
• Strong knowledge of care and pathway planning processes
• Understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 ⚖️
• Ability to build positive relationships with adolescents, families, and partner agencies 🤝
• Flexible approach to meet the needs of adolescents and the service
