We are currently seeking a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team at Medivet Gatley
.
The clinic has recently been refurbished, creating a clean, warm, and welcoming environment with abundant natural light — a rarity in the veterinary world! Our practice is a well‑established, community‑focused veterinary clinic dedicated to providing top‑quality care to our beloved animal patients and ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
This full‑time role requires 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8:00‑16:30 (30‑minute lunch break). One weekend in six will be scheduled further discussions, please contact .

- Deliver exceptional care to patients, clients, and colleagues.
- Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre‑ and post‑procedure activity.
- Lead nurse‑led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
- Monitor and care for patients.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out‑of‑hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense and check medication.
- Comply with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
- Hold briefings to engage and coordinate the team for efficient practice operation.
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Experience delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
- Experience supporting nurse consults, understanding how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
- Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
