Full time, 42 hours per week on days. Rate: £23.59 per hour.

Scotia Heights – a 'Good' rated CQC facility supporting adults with complex mental health needs, dementia, neuro‑disabilities, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s disease, and physical disabilities.

About the role

You will work at a senior level under the Clinical Nurse Manager, managing a team of nursing and care colleagues, driving quality and maintaining high standards of care on your unit.

  • Lead your unit’s care and nursing teams to meet the medical, physical and emotional needs of the residents.
  • Provide strong leadership to maintain and continuously develop high standards of care and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and manage all unit clinical elements and risks.
  • Ensure care plans and risk assessments are completed, reviewed timely and reflect care interventions appropriately.
  • Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, overseeing review and update of their care profiles.
  • Supervise and manage medication ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording and disposal.
