Management Accountant; FTC

Overview

We are partnering with a business in the Stoke-on-Trent area that is seeking a Management Accountant to join them on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is suited to an experienced accountant who can add value quickly and operate with a high degree of autonomy.

The position will take ownership of the monthly management accounts and oversee the reporting timetable. You will provide meaningful financial analysis to senior stakeholders and support decision making across the business. The role will also involve budgeting and forecasting and improving the quality of financial insight available to the leadership team.

You will act as a key point of contact between finance and the wider business and will be expected to communicate financial information clearly and confidently. A strong technical background is essential along with the ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities.

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and improve the quality of financial insight for leadership teams.
• Act as a key point of contact between finance and the wider business and communicate financial information clearly and confidently.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

• Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). Candidates qualified by experience will be accepted.
• Strong experience in a senior management accounting role.
• Confident presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.

• A 12-month fixed-term contract in a senior and visible finance role.
• A salary of £50,000 to £55,000 depending on experience.
