Primary Teacher - Year 4 class

Position: Primary Teacher  - Year 4  class
Location: Stoke-on-Trent

YEAR 4 PRIMARY TEACHER REQUIRED

Academics are supporting a warm, welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 primary Teacher to join their team on a supply basis thorugh Academics for the Summer Term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a lovely, supportive school environment where staff wellbeing and pupil progress are a genuine priority.

The Role

You will take on full class teacher responsibilities for a Year 4 class, including:

Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Marking and providing constructive feedback
Tracking pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policy
Attending staff meetings and liaising with colleagues and parents where required
Preparing pupils for end-of-year expectations and supporting a smooth transition

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable)
Strong classroom management skills
A nurturing and adaptable approach
Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
Excellent communication and organisational skills
