Teacher Active is proud to be partnering with an SEMH Secondary School in Stoke to recruit passionate and reliable Teachers for January on a temp to perm basis. The School is dedicated to both academic development and the emotional, social, and behavioural progress of their students.

We are seeking dynamic Teachers ready to take on long term roles with the potential to become permanent placements. You’ll bring a proactive approach, a flexible mindset, and a desire to adapt your teaching to meet the diverse needs of your pupils.

You’ll be working across various Key Stages with pupils who have diagnoses such as:

Autism / ASD
Social Emotional and Mental Health
Challenging Behaviours
A confident, adaptable approach and the ability to take initiative are essential for this role.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✅ Experience working with children with additional needs or disabilities
✅ Experience supporting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and challenging behaviours
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✅ Team-Teach or MAPA certification (desirable, not essential)
