Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher looking to make a difference in a Secondary School based in the Staffordshire Moorlands area?

Academics are recruiting an inspirational English Teacher to join a Secondary School in the Cheadle, Staffordshire Moorlands area. This is a full-time role teaching English at Key Stages 3 and Key Stages 4 with a January 2026 start through to Easter 2026. For the right candidate, there is a potential to extend the contract to summer.

You’ll be teaching English across KS3 and KS4 delivering engaging lessons that both challenge and support students learning, evidenced by exam outcomes. You’ll be responsible for monitoring strong academic progression amongst the students. You’ll join a collaborative English department where you’ll be expected to contribute meaningfully.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English Language & Literature - essential.
• Previous experience teaching English at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5.
• A teacher who is passionate about their subject and committed to pupil progress.
• Confidence in the classroom that demonstrates strong behaviour management skills.
• Someone who brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and high standards to the classroom.

• Competitive daily rates of £150-£230, paid to you weekly (dependent on experience & client rate).
• Long-term stability with potential for extension.
