Academics are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in the Cheadle area who are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their thriving department full-time from February as a maternity cover. Expected to run until Summer for the right candidate.

• Teach engaging and well-structured KS3 & KS4 Science lessons
• Plan, prepare and assess in line with school policies
• Contribute to a strong, collaborative department
• Build positive relationships with students and support their progress
• Full-time maternity cover from February → expected to run until Summer

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with Science specialism (essential)
• Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
• Experience teaching Science at a secondary level
• Ability to deliver lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 & KS4
• Committed to raising attainment and fostering curiosity in Science
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)

• Long-term, stable maternity cover in a Cheadle-based Secondary School
• Competitive daily rates of £150-£230, paid to you weekly (dependent on experience & client rate)
