Astro Education are proud to be supporting a welcoming and high-achieving Secondary School in Stoke-on-Trent in their search for a part-time School Administrator to join the team from February.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, organised, and professional individual with previous school-based administrative experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective daily running of the school office and providing vital support to staff, students, and parents.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies, maintaining a warm and professional reception environment.

* Support attendance monitoring, data input, and reporting processes.

* Maintain and update pupil and staff records using SIMS, Arbor, or a similar MIS system.

* Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently and courteously.

* Assist with HR, safeguarding, and compliance documentation as required.

* Provide administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff to ensure smooth school operations.
