Hillside Primary School is a friendly and welcoming primary school where every valued and encouraged to achieve their best. We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team for 30 hours per week to help provide high-quality learning support both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities- Work in our Early Years provision but be flexible to work in other key stages if required.
- Support teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons.
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to boost learning and confidence.
- Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and displays.
- Contribute to creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote the school’s values and ethos in all aspects of school life.
- Has experience of working with children (preferably within a school Early Years setting).
- Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping children succeed.
- Has good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Shows initiative and flexibility in responding to the needs of pupils and the school.
- Is able to demonstrate exemplary primary classroom practice in the Early Years.
- Has a positive outlook and the ability to work well with others, as part of a team.
- Has very high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
- Contributes to creating an inclusive, safe inspiring classroom environment.
- Work with children who are enthusiastic, keen to learn and have exemplary behaviour.
- Have access to appropriate training.
- Work with friendly, dedicated, supportive staff.
- Be part of a team with ambition for all pupils, who are challenged to do their absolute best.
The successful candidate must have a relevant approved Level 3 qualification or above.
