TPS is looking for the next generation of Parts Sales Executives to join their sites across the UK through the Volkswagen Group apprenticeship programme. If you have a passion for customer service or a desire to build a career within sales, but don’t know where to start, our apprenticeship may be for you. Working alongside experienced sales professionals, you will gain an understanding of what it takes to be successful in parts sales, expert product knowledge and how to provide excellent customer service.

You will also develop life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication while you work both behind the scenes and at the front desk.

• Inbound/Outbound call handling
• Take cash and credit card transactions
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Good IT skills
• Use product knowledge to advise customers
• Maintain accurate paperwork for centre and customer records
• Efficiently process customer orders
• Contribute to the delivery of sales targets

Training will be delivered using a combination of virtual classroom remote learning and face‑to‑face block release weeks at our state‑of‑the‑art training centre. Successful applicants must be prepared to travel to the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre, in Milton Keynes, to complete their apprenticeship training. All training‑related costs are fully covered, including travel, accommodation, and meals. In the workplace, a dedicated mentor will support your continued learning.

You will also attend an Outward Bound personal development week that supports resilience, confidence, and teamwork skills.

On successful completion of the 17‑month programme you will receive:

• Level 2 Retailer Standard
• Brand‑specific certifications

Scotland / Wales / Northern Ireland qualifications:

• Level 2 / Level 5 Customer Service Apprenticeship
• Brand‑specific certifications

• GCSE grades 9–3 (A–D) or equivalent in English, Maths, and one other subject (or predicted equivalents)
• In Scotland: predicted/achieved Scottish National 5 grades A–D in English, Maths and a Science or Technical subject (or equivalent)
• Equivalent qualifications include:
• BTEC first diplomas and certificates
• OCR Nationals
• Key Skills Level 2
• NVQs
• Essential Skills (Wales)
• Functional Skills Level 2
• Core Skills (Scotland)
