Site Manager – Roofing (Temp to Perm)

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong roofing background to oversee multiple roofing projects across the Midlands. This is a temp‑to‑perm opportunity offering long‑term prospects for the right candidate.

Location & Travel

Travelling across Burntwood, Cannock, Wolverhampton and to Northampton. The role is based out of a two‑storey cabin site compound in Burntwood, with the site office upstairs and canteen and welfare facilities below.

Responsibilities

• Managing site operatives and subcontractors across various locations
• Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
• Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety standards
• Identifying and addressing H&S concerns promptly
  
  Maintaining high standards of site organisation and cleanliness
• Overseeing daily site operations from open to close

Requirements

• Strong roofing background (essential)
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential)
• Up‑to‑date Health & Safety knowledge (essential)
• NVQ (preferred but not essential)
• Full UK driving licence
• Proactive, organised, and takes pride in maintaining high‑quality sites

Working Hours

07:30 – 16:30. Expected to arrive slightly earlier to open site and remain until close.

Package

• £28 per hour (CIS)
• Weekly pay
• Company van and fuel card provided
• Temp‑to‑perm opportunity
