What You'll Be DoingAs a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner within Children's Services at Staffordshire County Council, you'll play a vital role in protecting and supporting vulnerable children and adolescents. Your responsibilities will include:
Completing statutory Child & Family Assessments
Managing complex caseloads involving Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children
Leading and contributing to multi-agency safeguarding meetings
Undertaking risk assessments and care planning
Providing guidance and oversight (Senior Practitioner level) to support best practice
Preparing high-quality reports and undertaking court work when required
Working directly with children, adolescents, and families to achieve positive outcomes
