• Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
• Pay: Up to £33.30 per hour (umbrella)

As a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner, you will:

• Complete statutory Child & Family Assessments
• Manage a caseload of Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children
• Develop, implement, and review care and support plans
• Lead and contribute to multi‑agency and safeguarding meetings
• Assess risk and ensure timely, effective interventions
• Support and mentor colleagues (Senior Practitioner level)
• Prepare reports and undertake court work when required
• Work closely with children, adolescents, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes

• Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
• Experience working within Children’s Services
• Strong safeguarding, assessment, and decision‑making skills
• Ability to manage complex cases confidently
• Senior Practitioner applicants should have experience supporting or guiding colleagues
• A flexible, child‑focused approach to practice
