We’re looking for an Part
-Time Administrator (c.22.5 hours a week) to provide essential support to our Engineers, Consultants, and Directors in Stoke and across the Northern Geo Team. Our office enjoys an enviable location overlooking a tree‑lined lake, creating a welcoming environment for collaboration and success.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver high‑quality administrative support, including diary management, document editing, and collation.
  • Handle reception duties: greet visitors, manage calls, and maintain a professional front‑of‑house experience.
  • Manage office supplies, catering orders, PPE, and liaise with suppliers and contractors.
  • Coordinate equipment calibration, vehicle servicing, and assist with building maintenance.
  • Organise staff engagement activities and support onboarding for new starters.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and ISO standards, including emergency response roles (training provided).
About You
  • Previous experience in a busy office environment with reception and admin responsibilities.
  • Strong IT skills across Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
