Position: Service Administrator - Criminal Justice Ref:0085ZD
Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Join us as a Service Administrator in Stoke-on-Trent. We are seeking a motivated and organised Administrator to support our busy community drug and alcohol service. This role will be primarily based within our Criminal Justice team, providing vital administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of this part of the service. You will work closely with key partners, including prisons, custody suites, and probation services, to support information sharing and maintain accurate data records.

Responsibilities will include managing trackers that monitor client journeys as they engage with community support, handling calls via our dedicated Criminal Justice phone line (including those referred directly from court settings), and assisting with the printing and coordination of prescriptions for clients seen within the Criminal Justice pathway. You may also provide wider administrative support to the service, such as front-of-house duties, meeting and greeting, and assisting with the main service phone line.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills, and a commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals. You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do and has a positive and engaging approach to our clients and key stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Experience of providing great administrative support in a busy environment
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
  • Confidence working in a team environment and able to work collaboratively
  • A good level of Maths and English (verbal and written)
  • Organised, able to manage and prioritise your time and deal with changing and conflicting demands with ease
  • Good analytical skills with an eye for detail
  • A can do, positive attitude
  • Excellent IT skills, including database management and comfortable using digital media
  • Understanding of work-based Health & Safety issues
  • Some flexibility with working hours and location from time to time
  • Experience in a charitable organisation or knowledge/experience of our client group is an advantage but not essential
