We’re looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy, friendly team and play a key role in helping clients move home with ease. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this is the perfect opportunity to grow your legal career.

General duties and responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Deal with client onboarding ().
  • Regularly update and liaise with clients.
  • Liaise with lenders, estate agents and other third parties.
  • Drafting contract packs and transfers.
  • Review sale enquiries and liaise with clients, landlords, managing agents etc to obtain the necessary replies.
  • Order Searches.
  • Request redemption statements.
  • Draft SDLT.
  • Exchange contracts.
  • Set up completions, draft completion statements and arrange post completion formalities including registration at the Land Registry.
  • Assist in sorting out any internal accounts queries.
  • Comply with the firm’s policies and regulatory procedures.

Knowledge, experience and skills:

  • Excellent client care and communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven competence in IT skills (Outlook, Word, and other case management systems experience).
  • A proactive, motivated, and flexible approach to work.
  • Maintaining and updating client files and documentation in accordance with compliance rules and procedures.
  • 2+ years experience of working in residential conveyancing.
  • Sick pay.
