Receiving Clerk (night) - Stockton 25 at Southwest Traders, Inc.

$22.00/hr – $22.00/hr (Based on skills and experience; discuss with recruiter)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Pay: $22.00 per hour. Start time: 10:00 pm. Days:
Monday night through Friday night.

Requirements:
Pass a drug screen. Must have stand‑up forklift and pallet jack experience.

• Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material.
• Arrange transportation of products and support the shipping department.
• Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise as needed while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
• Work in dry, cooler, and frozen atmospheres.
• Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy.
• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders.
• Record shipment data (weight, charges, space availability, damages) for reporting and accounting.
• Determine shipping method using knowledge of procedures, routes, and rates.
• Deliver or route materials using hand trucks, pallet jacks, stand‑up forklifts, etc.
• Communicate with establishment representatives to resolve problems (damages, shortages, nonconformance).
• Compute charges using a calculator or price list.

• Check merchandise against invoices or orders for quantity discrepancies and damages.
• Move product to correct storage areas and keep supervisor informed of inventory levels.
• Maintain product knowledge and store organization.
• Follow instructions from managers, supervisors, and associates.
• Identify differences between similar products.
• Keep the warehouse neat and orderly.

• Prefer 2–4 years in receiving, ideally in food distribution.
• Experience using a WMS scanning system or similar program.
• Accountable, accurate, organized, and detail‑oriented.
• Demonstrate honesty, integrity, reliability, and safety awareness.
• Work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Adapt quickly to workplace changes.
• Handle extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).
• Stand‑up forklift experience.

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Two–four years of related experience.
• Familiarity with computer or warehouse software.

Standard warehouse conditions: long hours standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Operate equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts; lift up to 50 lbs. Exposure to extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).
