Access Control / Gate Officer

Location:

Stockton, CA

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday / 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Sundays / 3:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PMPay Rate: $17.51 per hour

We are seeking committed, responsible, and reliable Security Officers who maintain professional conduct and grooming standards. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

Position Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure facility by monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and observing and reporting all activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor and control inbound/outbound traffic at gate access

* Verify delivery paperwork and log all vehicle activity

* Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols

* Monitor truck yard activity to prevent unauthorized access

* Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points

* Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and incidents

* Write detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports (DARs)

* Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures

* Respond to emergency situations as needed

* Provide professional customer service and assistance

Qualifications

* Reliable and professional demeanor

* Strong observation and reporting skills

* Ability to write clear and detailed reports

* Ability to patrol on foot and/or by vehicle

* Ability to follow post orders and site-specific procedures

* Previous security experience preferred but not required
