ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND:
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.

Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You must respond to our contacts to confirm interest in working shifts. If you do not respond or do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment may be terminated. After being offered a position, attendance at a Target Welcome orientation and a short-term training schedule will be required. The myTime app is used to pick up shifts afterward.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and provide assistance.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their visit to Target.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
• Promote and explain Target Loyalty benefits and assist with enrollment; be familiar with fulfillment services and direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them.
• Explain how to use Wallet and other Target App features and offerings.
• Handle returns following register prompts and collaborate with leaders to resolve guest issues in accordance with Target policies.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience following Target policies.
• Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services (OPU, Drive-Up, DU Returns) and maintain compliance with applicable laws, including adult beverage regulations where relevant.
• Support cash office processes as needed, including cash systems management.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurate cash handling and support for cash office operations as needed.
• Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Flexible to pick up shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) to meet store needs.
• Active engagement by picking up shifts and responding to outreach; failure to work at least one shift within 5 months may lead to administrative termination.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions; mobile for scheduled shifts.
