Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1862) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $18.25 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve their needs and resolve concerns in a welcoming manner.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events; stay knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to improve their experience.
• Explain and promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Demonstrate how to use Target App features, including Wallet, and how to enroll in Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Handle returns per policy, consulting with leadership as needed, and follow register prompts.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours, while staying available to guests.
• Adhere to safety policies, report hazards, and perform duties in a safe manner.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-Up orders and returns, while complying with legal requirements (e.g., adult beverage laws where applicable).
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and multiple devices; work independently and with a team.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks within time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions; support cash office operations as needed.
• Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance.
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Comfort with exposure to varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
