Catering Attendant

Job Summary

Location: University of the Pacific – 3601 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95211.

Schedule: Full‑time and part‑time schedules. Days and hours may vary, including weekends.

Requirement: Food handlers card and RBS required. Willing to train.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

Position: Catering Attendant (full‑time and part‑time).

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables, decorations.
• Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly clean location after event is completed.
• Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to catering facility.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stock, clean, and maintain catering facility and equipment.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver's license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law.
