Job Summary and Responsibilities

Our multispecialty group, Dignity Health Medical Group – Stockton, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a full‑time Surgical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative surgical practice with a primary focus on breast cancer care. This role offers a balanced blend of clinic‑based care and operating room participation, ideal for APPs who value continuity of care, collaboration, and sustainable work‑life balance.

• Work primarily with our Surgical Oncologist, with occasional collaboration with a General Surgeon
• Primary focus on breast cancer patients, supporting care from consultation through recovery
• Outpatient‑based practice with meaningful operating room participation
• Collaborative, physician‑led environment that values APP autonomy and partnership
• Embedded within a multispecialty surgical specialty care clinic, fostering strong interdisciplinary collaboration

• Balanced role: approximately 80% clinic / 20% operating room
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No inpatient responsibilities and no call
• Perform:
• Initial patient consultations
• Follow‑up visits and ongoing care management
• Post‑operative care
• Patient education and emotional support

• Base salary: $145,000 – $165,000 annually, plus bonus incentives

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with active national certification
• Minimum of 9 months post‑training surgical experience preferred
• Active, unrestricted California license (or ability to obtain)
• Interest in oncology and longitudinal patient care
