• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing unique care plans tailored to each individual
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses, either independently or in consultation with physicians (per credentialing)
• Educating patients and their families on wellness, prevention strategies, and various disease management protocols

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or comparable specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)

• Robust clinical judgment and a caring rapport with patients
