DaVita Kidney Care is seeking a Registered Nurse who is passionate about making a difference in an outpatient dialysis center. In this role, you will provide life-saving care while supporting patients and their families facing end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions.

• Provide life-saving care in an outpatient dialysis center and support patients and families facing end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions.
• Build long-term patient relationships in an intimate outpatient setting.
• Work with a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians including technicians, other nurses, dietitians, social workers, physicians and the center manager.
• Deliver care to patients with multiple comorbidities using a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
• Oversee a group of patients with support from Patient Care Technicians (PCTs); conduct observations and assist with machine setup.
• Schedule:
  
  typically 10–12 hour shifts, 3–4 days/week; early morning or day shifts; some holidays may be required.
• Participate in a paid training program; open to candidates without dialysis experience.

• No dialysis experience required (training provided).
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience (dialysis experience not required).
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher; BSN preferred; certain substitutions may apply.
• Basic computer skills and ability to chart in electronic medical records systems (MS Word/Outlook familiarity helpful).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance in state of residence.
• Willingness to work Monday through Saturday mornings; schedule may include evenings and holidays.

• ICU/CCU/ER/Med-Surg experience
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
• Chronic or home dialysis nursing experience
• Healthcare education or teaching experience
