• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
• Make equipment recommendations and ensure that units are maintained.
• Work in both stores with Tool Rental Centers and in repair centers.
• In-store, provide service to Tool Rental customers, including writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs; verify tool operation and demonstrate proper use as needed.
• Support day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the Tool Rental department.
• In non-store locations, ensure units are repaired, tested for quality of repair, and cleaned prior to returning to the originating store.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all tools and effectively manage tool inventory by maintaining and repairing tools as necessary.
