AB Staffing is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2025/2026 school year.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Requirements:

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.
• California Occupational Therapy license (OTR/L)
• Fingerprint/TB clearance
• Ability to uphold board policies and follow administrative procedures
• Experience in identifying students with exceptional needs
• At least 1 year of successful therapy experience in an educational setting
• BLS/CPR Certification

Job Description:

Caseload and classroom details vary based on school location. Recruitment specialists can discuss specifics upon application to match you with a suitable classroom based on your experience and skillset. The contract runs through the 2025/2026 school year, with a workweek of 37.5 to 40 hours, following the academic district calendar.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Duties:

• Evaluate patients through observation, standardized tests, and listening to concerns to develop individualized care plans.
• Provide competent care using exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage pain, increase mobility, and prevent injury.
• Build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to achieve their goals.
• Communicate relevant patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines to ensure continuity of care.
• Document all patient care according to department policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and infection-control policies.

Salary: $1,875.00 – $2,437.00 per week
