As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. You design and deliver effective rehabilitation plans, adapt services to individual needs, and collaborate with peers and referral sources. You also educate patients and caregivers on skills that promote independence and productivity.
