Accelerated Path to Management Program – New York Life
OverviewAre you looking to use your experience to propel your career into management? At New York Life, we invest in you from the start to help you learn and grow as a financial professional. We’ll train you in valuable skills—marketing, business development, and customer relationship management—and provide the tools you need to advance into a management role.
What We’re Looking For- Sales or managerial experience in another industry.
- Experience running your own business.
- MBA or another equivalent degree.
- A commitment to a career in financial services.
- Willingness to obtain the required securities licenses and FINRA registrations.
You will start as a financial professional, learning how to sell our products, building client relationships, and meeting specific performance requirements before transitioning into a management role. You will then participate in a six‑month intensive training program designed to prime you for success as a manager, ultimately recruiting and coaching others to achieve their goals.
Qualifications- Sales or managerial experience in another industry.

- Willingness to obtain required securities licenses and FINRA registrations.
Phase 1 – Firsthand experience as a financial professional
You will work during the first year of your career journey to gain direct experience, receive extensive training, access digital tools, and learn our wide product suite.
Phase 2 – Transition to Associate Partner
After meeting specific requirements, you will enter a six‑month Associate Partner training program focused on leadership, team building, and career growth. Ongoing opportunities for promotion to senior management are available throughout your career.
CompensationInitial income is commission‑based. Upon qualifying for the Associate Partner role, you will receive a salary ranging from $60,000 to $150,000, plus bonuses and incentives tied to recruiting and performance. Total compensation potential is significant and grows with experience.
