Adjunct Associate Professor of Digital Media Pool

Under the general supervision of the Dean of Arts, Humanities & Multimedia
, the Adjunct Associate Professor of DIGITAL MEDIA teaches organized classes primarily in the Multimedia/Digital Media Duties and responsibilities may include, but not limited to the following:

Primary responsibility is to teach up to 10 units (part-time) in the assigned discipline.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree in any area plus minimum 2 years professional experience in Digital Media Production.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

DESIRABLE

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in teaching postsecondary courses in Digital Video and Audio production.
• Experience using digital editing software for video and/or audio editing.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies and techniques to different levels of students' ability and learning styles.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies and techniques to students from different cultures and ethnic groups.

Applicants in this pool will remain active for one year. After one year, applicants will receive an email with information on how to remain in the pool.
