Dignity Health Medical Group - Stockton, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a Board‑Certified/Board‑Eligible Thoracic Surgeon to be the cornerstone of our comprehensive Thoracic Surgery service in Stockton, CA. This unique opportunity offers broad clinical autonomy, significant practice development, and a commitment to physician well‑being.
Practice HighlightsThis role is designed for a surgeon who desires a strong, primary thoracic practice with a broad scope, expanding beyond the traditional.
- Pioneer a Dedicated Service: Be the primary expert establishing and developing a robust Thoracic Surgery presence, expanding our comprehensive thoracic services across the region.
- Broad Case Mix & High Volume Potential: Develop a diverse practice covering a wide range of thoracic pathologies, including lung disease (benign and malignant), mediastinal conditions, chest wall work, and critical support for a significant volume of esophageal cases.
- Esophageal Expertise: Play a crucial role in managing complex esophageal cases, collaborating closely with our experienced General Surgeons. Your expertise in both benign and malignant esophageal surgery is highly valued and will be a core component of this role.

- Guaranteed annual salary of $500,000 – $550,000 for the first two years, ensuring financial security as you establish your robust clinical practice.
