Social Work Senior Practitioner – Children and Families Team in Stockton-on-Tees, earning £33.69 hourly.
This is an Ongoing full-time opportunity to lead positive change and work with children and families who require coordinated social care support. This role offers the chance to engage dynamically with Child in Need plans, Child Protection plans, and those involved in PLO or court proceedings.

- Carry out meaningful assessments that identify strengths, needs, and risks, shape clear and child-focused plans.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and carers to support positive change.
- Lead and contribute to safeguarding enquiries, including responding to allegations of harm.
- Prepare clear, analytical reports and maintain high-quality case recording.
- Work jointly with partners and agencies to deliver coordinated support that keeps children safe.
- Engage in reflective practice, team development, and service improvement activities.
- Represent the service in court proceedings, preparing robust evidence and presenting professional analysis when required.
