Job Description:
The Stock Controller will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy and inventory integrity across the operation. As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records within SAP, conducting physical and system-based stock checks, and investigating discrepancies.
You will lead root cause analysis for stock discrepancies, implementing corrective and preventative actions to reduce variance and improve stock performance. The Stock Controller will also support perpetual inventory counts, maintain audit-ready documentation, and work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance.
This role requires strong cross-functional communication to ensure accurate stock availability, valuation, and forecasting. As a Stock Controller, you may also support operational teams, train colleagues on SAP transactions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, or similar role
Strong SAP experience essential
Experience conducting stock investigations and root cause analysis
Previous involvement with internal and external auditors
Background within manufacturing, engineering, or process-driven environments
Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
