Our client, a well‑established and highly regarded fireplace company based in South Manchester, is expanding its team and looking for an experienced Fireplace Installation Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in their craftsmanship and values exceptional customer service.

They specialise in the supply and installation of high‑quality gas, electric, and solid fuel fireplaces. Their projects range from modern feature walls to traditional fireplaces, working with premium materials such as limestone, marble, and natural wood. We're now looking for a dedicated engineer to join our client’s growing team and help deliver outstanding results to both residential and commercial clients.

You’ll be responsible for the end‑to‑end installation of a wide range of fireplace systems. From site preparation and fireplace construction to appliance fitting and final commissioning, you’ll ensure each job is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.

• Installing gas, electric, and solid fuel fireplace systems.
• Building full fireplace surrounds in various materials.
• Ensuring all installations comply with current safety and regulatory standards.
• Providing excellent service and clear communication to clients.
• Liaising with the office and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintaining a clean, safe working environment at each site.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Gas Safe registered engineer.
• Strong background in gas and electric fire installations.
• Skilled in the construction of fireplace surrounds using materials such as limestone, marble, and timber.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach.
• Desirable: HETAS certification or experience with solid fuel appliances.
• Desirable: Experience working in high‑end domestic settings.
