About the Role:

Time Recruitment are currently seeking a Semi-Skilled or Skilled Bench Joiner to join our client who is based in Stockport. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in door and frame assembly, be confident using relevant power tools, and demonstrate a strong understanding of joinery techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble doors and frames to precise specifications
Operate and maintain a range of power tools and woodworking machinery
Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets

Requirements:

Proven experience in a bench joinery role
Skilled in door and frame assembly
Competent with power tools such as saws, routers, drills, and sanders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop environment

Desirable:

NVQ or equivalent qualification in Carpentry/Joinery
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
