CNC Miller

We re hiring for an experienced CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company based in Stockport, Greater Manchester who boast an attractive reputation and extremely exciting future. Producing high quality jigs and fixtures for the aerospace, nuclear, and defence industries around the globe, they provide an excellent diversity of work for their employees along with a supportive working environment.

What s on offer?

• £18.54 - £19.70 per hour
• 35 hour week:
  Day shifts:
  Flexible start and finish times
• Early finish on Fridays (12pm)
• Overtime paid at 1.5X (always available)
• 33 days holiday
• 4% employer pension contribution
• Paid time off for doctors/ dentist appointments

What will you be doing as a CNC Miller?

• Programming (training provided), setting, and operating CNC Horizontal borers, CNC Jig borers, and CNC Millers
• Measuring and maintaining key features to drawing tolerances
• Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe working environment

What do you need?

• Time served CNC machinist preferably with Heidenhain experience
• Programming experience beneficial however training is provided
• Experience of working in a precision engineering environment
• Good understanding of engineering drawings
• Good work ethic and attention to detail
