Court of Protection Solicitor - StockportSalary: c.£40,000 + excellent benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified to 1-year PQE Solicitor to join a thriving Court of Protection team at a well-respected, forward-thinking firm based close to Stockport. You'll be joining a supportive and growing department that has been built from the ground up by an experienced Head of Department, working within a team known for its compassionate approach and technical excellence.

With all-new instructions and ambitious growth plans this is the perfect opportunity to develop your skills and career in a high-quality, client-focused environment. What you'll do:

• Manage your own small caseload of Property and Affairs Deputyship matters
• Support clients with brain injuries and other vulnerabilities, often working alongside professional trustees
• Draft statutory wills, PI trusts, and other CoP applications
• Visit clients in care homes, hospitals, and their own homes
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and contribute to the continued development of the department

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (NQ - 2 PQE)
• Genuine interest in Court of Protection and serious injury work
• Some experience in CoP or personal injury litigation is ideal
• Strong communication and empathy skills when dealing with vulnerable clients
• UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
