Lead Penetration Tester

I am hiring a Lead Penetration Tester on behalf of a global leader in the industry, specialising in providing innovative solutions and services across diverse sectors. • Lead and mentor a team of penetration testers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and oversight to ensure high‑quality project delivery.
• Coordinate and manage pen testing engagements, including planning, scoping, resource allocation, client communication, and ensuring smooth execution end‑to‑end.
• Perform advanced penetration tests on internal and external infrastructures, networks, web applications, APIs and cloud environments, for a wide range of clients.
• Create high‑quality penetration test reports, including clear findings, exploit details, risk ratings, and remediation guidance, and present results directly to clients.
• Review and quality‑check reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, consistency, and professional presentation before delivery to clients.
• Develop and maintain custom tools, scripts, and automation, enhancing your testing workflow and contributing to internal research projects.

This role is remote from anywhere in Germany.

• Several years professional experience conducting penetration tests
• Strong knowledge of IT networks and Operating Systems
• Experience with programming languages e.g. Python, JavaScript etc.
• Ability to create clear, structured, and client‑ready pen test reports, and confidently present findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Minimum C1 level German or above with a good knowledge of English
• Certifications such as OSCP, OSEP

• Experience with IoT and/or OT Penetration Tests
• Proven leadership qualities e.g. project leadership and mentoring
