Assistant Management Accountant

We are actively seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for a well established and growing company close to Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.

• Ensuring accurate and timely calculation, analysis, and reporting of product and operational costs to support effective decision-making and profitability management.
• Developing and maintaining cost models, monitoring variances, and providing insights that drive cost efficiency and margin improvement.
• Supporting pricing strategies, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring compliance with financial standards and alignment with business objectives.
• Monthly account preparation
• Bank reconciliations
• Supporting audits
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial compliance and efficiency

• Is currently studying CIMA, ACCA or ACA
• Has product costing experience (or product costing knowledge through studies)
• Has management accounts experience
• Has good Excel skills
• Has an innovative approach, with the ability to identify and develop system improvements

• Salary (up to £40k)
