Tax Manager – General Practice Firm | Up to £58,000

Location:Greater Manchester (Flexible hybrid working)

The Role:
A split between personal tax compliance and advisory, with scope to tailor the balance depending on your strengths and interests. You’ll lead the tax function, managing compliance workflows, advising clients on more complex issues, and supporting the Partners on tax planning strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee personal tax compliance for a broad client portfolio
• Deliver high‑quality tax advice (CGT, IHT, succession planning, etc.)
• Support junior staff and review work
• Liaise with HMRC and ensure all filings are accurate and timely
• Help drive efficiencies and process improvements within the tax team

Salary & Benefits:

• £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience

What You’ll Need:

• CTA qualified (or ACA/ACCA with strong tax experience)
• Proven experience managing a personal tax portfolio
