Overview
St Simon’s Catholic Primary School seeks to appoint a highly skilled and conscientious Teaching Assistant who is a dedicated and compassionate educator with the ability to inspire young minds. The role supports pupils' academic and spiritual journey, working closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality interventions and support pupils with diverse needs, while helping maintain the school’s distinctive Catholic ethos.
Responsibilities- Support Learning:
Lead small group interventions in Literacy and Numeracy to bridge learning gaps. - Empower Pupils:
Work with all children, including those with specific educational needs (SEND), ensuring they have full access to school life. - Foster Faith:
Support the Catholic ethos of the school through participation in daily prayer, assemblies, and the spiritual development of pupils. - Collaborate:
Work closely with the Class Teacher to monitor progress, adapt resources, and maintain a positive classroom environment.

The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment clearances including DBS check and will then be required to sign the CES Contract.
