Volunteer Recognition Coordinator Job Overview To coordinate and process Excellence in Volunteering Awards, Long Service and other awards from recommendation to presentation, whilst also supporting with the development of new ways to recognise supporters and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities To act as the first point of contact for all enquiries concerning volunteer and supporter awards including liaising with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations. To receive, validate and format all nominations for awards and make preparations for the approval process To coordinate the production and dispatch of Meritorious Service and Gallantry Awards. With direction from Volunteer Recognition Adviser, record, process and dispatch all confirmed awards within the agreed SLA’s.

To liaise and work with external suppliers to ensure delivery details are accurate and dispatch dates are met To review and complete any referrals from the nomination process by liaising with Volunteer Managers To maintain the existing Awards processes and also support with identifying developments and improvements within this space. Record and analyse feedback from stakeholders to identify improvements in current processes To accurately record, cross reference and maintain large volume of information on nominated and approved awards in the systems.

Write, prepare and dispatch certificates and awards on behalf of Trustees, Executive Team and Senior Leadership Team To take ownership of stock control processes and systems, ensuring the team has appropriate material/awards for packing and posting awards To use internal systems to create stock and non-stock purchase orders and process all payments of invoices to suppliers and exercise cost saving measures wherever possible To support the Volunteer Recognition Adviser with the organisation of annual events To become involved in other ad hoc tasks as required.

Skills needed Data input to the volunteer management system Reading data reports and updating personnel records as appropriate Managing the general inbox and dealing with volunteer related enquiries around volunteering, work experience etc Provide administrative support for larger scale tasks within the team Data input Excel, AX, and any other systems??? Managing inboxes Dealing with a range of stakeholders Managing conflicting tasks Have a good understanding of data protection legislation and data governance and uphold the required data standards Process mapping would be a bonus but not essential Understanding of volunteering or previous work in a charity This is a temp assignment for 3 months - possibly longer - hybrid working - Poole - parking on site £17.40 an hour inc holiday pay 37 hours - Monday to Friday What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
