Wound Care- Nurse Practitioner​/Physician Assistant - Henry Hospital

Overview

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Wound Care team at Piedmont Henry Hospital. This is a full-time Monday through Friday position with no call responsibilities. You will provide care to a variety of wound care and hyperbaric oxygen patients mostly in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.

• Provide medical services to individuals, families, and/or groups, including diabetic ulcers, skin tears, non-healing surgical wounds, vascular insufficiencies, wound grafts, and any other wound care or hyperbaric oxygen needs
• Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management
• Augment a physician’s ability to provide medical services to patients
• Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations, and provide direct patient care services
• Have direct oversight of patients undergoing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

• Requirements:
  Preferred, not required.
  
  - Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a wound care setting.
• Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
• Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as an NP by the State of Georgia with National Certification
