Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience and BLS, ARRT-R, and NMTCB certifications.
Responsibilities- Position is based in a hospital nuclear medicine department serving adolescent through geriatric patients
- Day shifts are 4x10 hours from 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Every other weekend is required
- Floating may be required within the facility and clinical scope
- Weekday and weekend call required one week per month, with call from shift end to 11:00 PM on weekdays and from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM on weekends
- Uses Epic EMR, PACS, Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo, Xceleris processing system, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, Atom Lab
960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR and CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, Lud Lum Model 14C survey meter, and Bicron 2000 survey meter - No blocked scheduling permitted
- Must be able to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Dark grey scrubs are required
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off permitted; none allowed during the first week
- Holiday coverage is required in accordance with the outlined major holiday policy
- Full compliance is required prior to start; incomplete compliance can result in a two-week orientation delay
- Return travelers must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year to be eligible
- Travel pairs are not permitted to work the same shift on the same unit
- Minimum 2 years of recent nuclear medicine technology experience required
- BLS, ARRT-R, and NMTCB certifications required
- Proficiency with Xceleris processing system, PACS, and listed nuclear medicine equipment required
- Experience using Epic EMR preferred
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- License required if applicable
