Job Opportunity – Telemetry / Med-Surg Overflow IMCU RN – Georgia

Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36-hour orientation; patient ratio 1:5–6; every other weekend required; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Highlights:

• 32-bed overflow IMCU supporting adults to geriatric patient population with cardiac, renal, pulmonary, and post-surgical cases
• Comprehensive case mix including arrhythmia management, cardioversion, post-cardiac cath, cardiac drips, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Epic charting system (preferred), Pyxis medication management, and SBAR communication protocols
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Travel RNs with prior travel experience required; local candidates accepted at same rate
• 13-week assignment with opportunity for contract extension

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submittal)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; previous travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Experience with cardiac drips (amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, nitroglycerin, milrinone, heparin, argatroban, aggrastat, bumex, lasix) and titration protocols
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia management, pre/post cardiac cath care, and TR band application
• Competency with BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, IV starts and maintenance, central/peripheral line care, and blood product administration
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at submission
• Must be available to complete compliance documents and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
