Location: St. John's
Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

Software Engineering Claims
Build impactful claims features as a key member of an agile squad, from grooming and design through delivery.
Elevate the claims agent experience by refining and enhancing existing software—reducing friction, improving performance, and shipping improvements.
Work with senior developers to deliver quality products end-to-end by triaging defects, prioritizing fixes, and contributing to reliable, scalable production support
Learn from senior developers on software lifecycle management best practices, growing your craft across design, development, testing, deployment, and observability.
Technical Skills Required :Java development
Nice to Have:
Agile/scrum, microservices, guidewire or P&C insurance experience

What you bring to the table:
Currently pursuing aBachelor's or Master’sdegree in a field related to software development, computer science, or anything relevant;
Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Summer 2026 Term (May to August)
Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next
Fall 2026following your internship
Experience in a financial services company would be considered an asset.
Understand the softwaredevelopmentlifecycle and be curious about continuous delivery pipelines and testing.
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.
Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology.
Self-reliant witha strong senseof responsibility.
