Developing Novel Therapeutics for Selective Inhibition of HIFP4H Isoenzymes - Project
Description:
This project focuses on building a graph neural network model that predicts the inhibitory activities of PHD2 inhibitors, and elucidating the molecular mechanisms of PHD2 inhibition using an integrative approach of machine learning, molecular dynamics, and molecular docking. - Qualifications: Strong background in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, or a related field and keen interest in machine learning applications and interdisciplinary research.

Deciphering the Molecular Basis of Retinoid and Non-retinoid Transport by RBPs - Project
Description:
This project involves machine learning-assisted collective variable discovery for enhanced sampling of retinol and lipid binding to RBP2 and RBP4 to understand the molecular basis of their affinities. - Qualifications: Strong background in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, or a related field and keen interest in machine learning applications.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biology, or a related discipline.
- Experience or knowledge with molecular dynamics simulations or machine learning is an asset but not necessary.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Develop expertise in cutting-edge computational techniques.
- Gain hands-on experience in collective variable discovery and enhanced sampling.
- Acquire skills in computer-aided drug discovery and development of mathematical models.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Enhance proficiency in programming and data analysis.
