NSB Omega is searching for a Project Quality Coordinator – Turnover Documentation for our MAJOR Oil & Gas Client in St. John's, NL.
Overview
Reporting to the Project Quality Lead, the Project Quality Coordinator (Documentation) is responsible for the review, organization and submission of project quality documentation as required by the Quality Assurance Integrity Management System (QAIMS) and Project Quality Plan.
Responsibilities
Conduct Quality Surveillance at contractor and subcontractors’ facilities as required
Development and implementation of project procedures such as
Implementation of the Project Quality Plan
Execution of Project Audit Plan
Review and approval of Contractor and Subcontractor Quality Documentation.
Create and track Quality Performance Indicators (QPI’s) to completion throughout different Project stages.
Coordinate the usage of 3rd party inspectors at Contractors and subcontractors’ sites
Monitor and report on contractor quality requirements and review contractor evaluations for performance and compliance.
Complete documentation reviews on equipment
Coordinate/Oversee project punch list process to ensure all outstanding actions from fabrication and testing are completed prior to acceptance
Monitor SIT/FAT processes to ensure all testing is completed in a safe manner and all testing/inspection is completed prior to handover
Ensure that NCR’s are properly identified, documented and addressed to mitigate project risk
Ensure that equipment documentation and records are reviewed and approved within a timely manner
Ensure effective interface between project quality and the Certifying authority to promote progressive documentation review.
Deliverables
Generate and Maintain Equipment tracking databases
Produce reports for surveillance, audits and inspections
Generate, monitor and close out Nonconformance reports and punch list
Assist with Developing project processes and procedures as required
Qualifications
Post secondary education in Business, Engineering Technology or related fields.
5+ years’ experience working on Projects in the Oil and Gas Industry.
CSA W178.2 Level 2 Inspector Certificate
Competency
Experience in reviewing fabrication/technical documentation
Manufacturing record books
Material Test Reports/ Material Traceability
Equipment Test Reports
Proficiency with Bluebeam, Power BI, SAP software and MS suite of products
Experience/knowledge working aligned with certifying authorities regarding certification and installation of Project Equipment
Working Conditions
Office based in St. John, NL
Occasional travel as required by the Project
Monday-Friday, 40 hours work week.
