General Production Labour - Part time

Overview

Our General labourers are an integral part of the baking and production process, ensuring our delicious baked goods are packaged, and safely end up on grocery store shelves and at your favorite restaurants across North America.

Monday to Friday, Shift Rotation every 2 weeks between Mornings and Evenings, flexibility with working overtime, Overtime available after 40 hours or after shifts >8 hours.

Mornings – Starts between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM;
Afternoons – Starts between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

Starting from $18.00 per hour.

• Pick, pack, sort, and package fresh products into bags and boxes
• Work in production/packaging area to make and stack boxes onto pallets
• Inspect filled packages to ensure product is packaged according to specifications.
• Work closely with production team members to ensure product quality
• Mix the ingredients, package the breads, and Load the bread trays as per the instructions.
• Assist machine operators/mixers/oven captains and crew with other duties as assigned.
• May assist sanitation crew in the cleanliness of production equipment.

• A lover of bread and baked goods!
• You should be comfortable lifting 50 pounds.
• You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic.
• You have previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)
• You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• You digest constructive feedback as an opportunity to listen, and improve your skills, abilities, and performance.
• You are someone who listens to comprehend a situation first, asking questions to clarify your own understanding, instead of listening to be able to reply quickly.
